This year we are honoured to showcase a preview of 11 amazing images of lions from the extraordinary new book ‘Remembering Lions’, which is being launched in October.
The portfolio represents the work of some of the world’s top wildlife photographers, revealing a range of lion behaviour, and is sure to be a popular attraction for all wildlife lovers.
‘Remembering Lions’ is the fourth release in the highly acclaimed Remembering Wildlife series of books. It includes a foreward by Jonathan and Angela Scott and photographs donated by more than 70 photographers.
The book, aims to raise awareness of the plight facing lions and also to raise funds to protect them. A successful Kickstarter campaign raised over £160,000 to fund production, so all profits will be donated to support lion conservation projects.
The exhibition coincides with a cover story on lions, including another selection of images from Remembering Lions, which will appear in the new October-December issue of Travel Africa, also available at the Wildlife and Safari Show.
